Last Tour For The Stones?

Are the Rolling Stones going to do a farewell world tour next year?
There are rumours – yes, again! – that the Greatest Rock ‘N’ Roll Band In The World will go out on the road next year. And this could be the last time.

A source apparently told The Sun: “They’re likely to perform in stadiums. It’s almost certainly the last full-scale world tour. The band realise that age is creeping up on them. They want to bow out on top of their game, and not short-change their fans”.

Mind you the phrase ‘almost certainly the last full scale world tour’ sounds like a bit of hedging your bets to us.

And as if on cue, Ronnie Wood has refuted this unnamed source: “We have all agreed this won’t be the last time. Everyone’s rocking.”

Guns and Roses reunio? Is it possible ?

Guitarist says 'no chance' for reunion.
'It was impossible to stay in the same room as Axl, "Slash remembers.

If it depends on the guitarist Slash, a reunion with members of the original Gun N 'Roses is virtually impossible. "There is no chance of a meeting (of Guns)," said the musician in an interview with GQ.

The guitarist said he arrived to receive proposals with high values to return to the old band. "I can not remember the numbers exactly, but (the deal was) excessive. Things in the level of seven to eight digits, "he said, confirming that the figures would increase from $ 100 million.

"When we were on stage, were a powerful force together. But there came a point where it was impossible, off stage, we stay in the same room or make any music together, "justifies Slash.

Guns and Roses were a great band once, but that's gone forever. Remember G-n-R the way they were.

Iron Maiden Aren't Playing What You Want

Iron Maiden guitarist Janick Gers says the band felt forced to risk fans' anger by touring in support of new album The Final Frontier without playing more than one track from it.
A sample 15-song setlist from their current US dates includes The Wicker Man, Ghost of the Navigator, Wrathchild, El Dorado, The Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg, These Colours Don't Run, Blood Brothers, Wildest Dreams, No More Lies, Brave New World, Fear of the Dark and Iron Maiden with encores The Number of the Beast, Hallowed Be Thy Name and Running Free.
Gers explains Maiden were faced with a dilemma because their world tour began in June while The Final Frontier isn't released until August 16. They felt constrained to leave the new tracks at home in order to avoid spoiling the album's release impact – and says fans are in for a surprise if they think El Dorado demonstrates the full range of its musical breadth.

And because Maiden's last tour was very much a best-of outing, they decided to focus on material they'd written in the last ten years.
